William (Bill) Joseph Blaschko was born on July 15,1944, to Robert J. and Lorraine A.
(Leadstrom) Blaschko in St. Peter, MN. William passed away on November 29th, at Oak
Terrace in Le Sueur, MN. Funeral service will be held December 14th at 10:30am at First
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, SD. Visitation will be on December 12th from 4-8pm with prayer service at 7pm at the Le Center Funeral home. Burial will be Grandview Cemetery, Gary, SD.
Bill was baptized, received First Holy Communion, and was confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center. Bill grew up in Le Center and graduated from McKinley High School in 1963. In 1988 he married Naomi Moeller. They resided in Gary, SD for 12 years, moving to Le Center in 2000 and then to Cleveland in 2020. Bill worked in the trucking industry all his life driving and dispatching for several companies. He retired in 2007 from Cliff Viessman, Inc after 21 years of dispatching. Bill was a member of the Le Sueur County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse, the Gary, SD Fire Department and the Gary, SD Community Club. Bill was also a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Mankato, MN.
Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Naomi; children, Scott (Carol) Blaschko of Le Center, Amy (David) Deutschman of Lakeville, Rusty (Shannon) Blaschko of Le Center, Molly (Brad) Stoffel of Cleveland, and Taylor (Jake) Jacobson of Maple Grove; seventeen grandchildren, Brittney (Friday) Mendez, Dani (Tyler) Ongie, Megan (Ryan) Richmond, Alyssa Deutschman, Hannah Deutschman, Linsey (John) Harkins, Nathan (Kallie) Blaschko, Heidi (Matt) Selly, Mallory Blaschko, Lexie Blaschko, Kolton Duff, Andrew Fogarty, William Fogarty, Luci Blaschko, Parker Stoffel, Hudson Stoffel and Gwendolyn Jacobson; eight great-grandchildren, Miguel and Emilia Mendez, Chase, Carson and Cole Harkins, Emma and Tate Selly, Otto Richmond; siblings, Denny (Evelyn) Blaschko of Le Center, Dick (Joni) Blaschko of Le Center, and Jeanne (Tim) Traxler of Le Sueur; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lorraine Blaschko; sister and brother-in-law Terry and Mike Keenan.
